About Us Aristocats Hotel and Spa was opened in order to fulfill some needs for the cat lover that seem to be missing in the Metro area. We, at Aristocats, love all animals, especially cats and have a wide range of experience with them. Allennia Voerster has been a Veterinary technician since 1981. She owns and shows pedigree cats. In her years as a Veterinary tech, she has noticed a growing need for experienced cat grooming, especially for those cats that do not require sedation for grooming. Many Vet clinics will just automatically sedate every cat that comes in, especially those that need shaving. Most grooming shops accept only dogs and many of the ones that do accept cats still prefer to work on dogs. She knows that cats are more relaxed and comfortable without the sight, sound and smell of dogs - especially those cats that aren't use to dogs. The owners/operators of Aristocats Hotel and Spa understand cats. They give their guest a "home away from home" atmosphere, not a "cage."
